I made this career move by taking risks in my life which I feel are Positive Risks where to tap the Opportunities in order for me to be successful and progressive in this ever changing technology field.

What didn’t go well? What ‘wrong turns’ did you take?

There were situations things did not turn well when Transitioning the Projects to Operations due to ever changing stakeholders and clients even though we had agreed and signed scope of work and funding in place with time. There were also moments that I had struggled to get great jobs, but always I had good jobs in place.

How did you handle your finances to make your change possible?

My small savings at equal intervals helped me to make the change successful as I had invested myself in Self Learning in form of Educations, Webinars, and Professional Certifications.

There were difficult situation that arise when change happens. I reminded myself of my own self in terms of mindfulness and to understand when there is resistant to change to take a pause, slow down and start again. Change is always Change and it occurs with Time. We need to keep moving forward and embrace the situations that we face.

What were other difficulties and how did you overcome them?

There were difficulties in adapting to new job environment due to large and complex business units and process in place. All Business units were SILO type and for me to integrate and TIE the Business Units by moving from SILO to Single Framework was very difficult. But I overcome the same over the years of providing value added services be it small or big.

I am blessed and the gratitude that I practice from my family, friends are the help that I get and making me to survive.

What have you learnt in the process?

I learned to be Quite. When we are quite inside everything starts working around us in our favor. I learned to master the skill of LISTEN.

Trying to be Mindful always and calm inside.

What would you advise others to do in the same situation?

Just be BOLD enough to face the reality of Life and Keep Moving.
